Have the past couple of weeks had you running in circles trying to figure out how to make things work?

A lot of us are feeling the pressure and stress of being out of work but now is the perfect time to take a step back and reset your mind on what changes can be made in order for you to feel calm, collected, and confident again.

Here are some tips on regaining your confident self…

1.) Well-Being

Finding what “fills your cup” is something we tend to put on the back burner when we’re busy. What are some things that truly puts you at ease and makes you genuinely happy? Maybe it’s catching up on a good book with a glass of wine or maybe it’s just 10 minutes of pure silence.

We asked some of you on the live webinar what you do to relax, and here were some of the responses:

“I work out daily and listen to some great music” – Marlene

“I walk my dog everyday before work” – Deborah

“I take myself on dates when I’ve been working so much, I deserve it!” – Jillian

“Hiking and yoga with my kids” – Shannon

“Redecorating – painting is thereputic” – Jennifer

“Pausing, breathing, journaling..” -Vanesa

Some other great responses were knitting, meditation, and even something as simple as bubble baths!

2.) Time Management

Do you get distracted easily? This is a problem many have because they don’t know how to say “no” to the things that pull them away from what really matters. Doing only what you can do and delegating smaller tasks is going to allow you to have a clearer mind and get more done in a day.

3.) Work-life Balance

Creating a work-life balance is all about spreading out your energy. Have you been so distracted in work that you have put your significant other on the back burner? Choose some steps to take right now that you can practice to creating a better balance in the places that are lacking your attention.
